Où sont passées les femmes architectes ? Cela fait quelques siècles que les femmes créent avec passion et talent dans une profession dominée par les hommes. L’histoire semble les avoir oubliées… ou ont-elles été sciemment effacées ? Out of the Picture partira à la recherche de ces femmes et de leur histoire. Pourquoi et comment ont-elles été mises à l’écart des enjeux de l’architecture ? Quels moyens, quelle solidarité mettront-elles en œuvre pour reconquérir une visibilité et pourquoi est-ce essentiel.

Where have all the female architects gone? For several centuries now, women have been creating with passion and talent in a profession dominated by men. History seems to have forgotten them… or have they been deliberately erased? Out of the Picture goes in search of these women and their story. Why and how were they sidelined from the challenges of architecture? What means and what solidarity will they use to regain visibility, and why is this essential?
